Halfway

If you’ve been following along you’re halfway there. You have overcome the sugar lows, the cravings, the headaches of reading labels. The good news is there is an end in sight. Your numbers may not be what you expected but can you see the difference…can you feel it? Maybe it’s in the way you don’t have to unbutton your pants everytime you eat. Or maybe you just had the realization you haven’t had sugar or soda in a week and their is no more bloatedness. I started feeling it before anyone else could see it. That’s when you know you are doing something right. The way you carry yourself, the way you feel the need to actually run a brush through your hair or even better you can shave and still breathe at the same time. Now that is an accomplishment. Keep coasting along, it is only downhill from here. YOU have taken the first steps to improve your life. YOU are becoming someone else’s inspiration. YOU are finding your self confidence. Hold your head high, shoulders back and flaunt it. Your story is not even close to being over yet, you have already come so far.

Born and raised in small town USA Lexington, North Carolina more famously known for our BBQ, where our tea is sweet and our accents are sweeter (Oh yeah and you get that good ice, you know the hospital kind) at all our restaurants. If I was a travel agent I would be sure to disclose that, cause that is a selling point to me for sure. Except now, I am on a permanent vacation living at the coast, married to my wonderful husband (Ben) with three handsome boys (Kaleb, Joshua & Chase), a dog (Baloo) and as of yesterday a new fish (Pete). This journey I am on started out as trying to lose weight and ended up with me finding myself. So if you're ready to laugh, cry with me and probably shake your head at my grammar and punctuation you are more than welcome to join in on my shenanigans. All Aboard!
